Keeping My Family Safe

In recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office Community Justice Center–Central along with the 11^th District Community Policing Office will host a free webinar entitled Keeping My Family Safe presented by Laura Daily of the Chicago Children’s Advocacy Center on April 12^th at 5:30 pm.    This webinar will provide parents, caregivers and service providers with valuable information on preventing, recognizing, and responding to child sexual abuse.   The presentation will cover how to teach boundaries, privacy and consent, behavioral warning signs in children, youth, and adults, ways to speak up during concerning situations, creating a family safety plan and resources on child development and sexual abuse.
