FREE PARKING available between 4:30pm - 9:00pm in Truman College’s parking garage (directions) located off of Racine Street, and is accessible from Wilson Avenue. All vehicles must exit garage by 9:00pm.

The Uptown Chamber of Commerce is hosting our 10th Annual WINTER WALK ON WILSON on Friday, December 6th, 2024 from 5:00 – 8:30 PM. This FREE event features sweet treats, warm drinks, and menu samples offered by local Uptown businesses and organizations, live holiday music along the Wilson and Broadway commercial corridors, a pop-up holiday market, and photo ops with Uptown’s own Panda Claus!

Stroll along Wilson Avenue to experience the holiday cheer of live performances and tasty offerings by Uptown's small businesses!

Step inside the Uptown Holiday Market at the future home of the Chicago Market featuring 30+ retail vendors, kids crafts, and photo ops with Uptown's own Panda Claus! Interested vendors can apply here. Gift wrapping provided by Friends of McCutcheon Elementary (donations accepted).
Note: this space is ADA accessible and open to pets.

Winthrop Family Historical Garden, 4628 N. Winthrop
Join Cabinet of Curiosity and Red Line Service at the Uptown Chamber of Commerce's Winter Walk on Wilson. Look for our large-scale, spectacular puppets, machines, and astounding giant objects and join us in the Winthrop Family Historical Garden for the warmth of fire, art, conversation, and treats. Four spectacular processions depart from the Wilson Red main entrance and march back to Winthrop Family Historical Garden on the half hour: 6:00 PM, 6:30 PM, 7:00 PM, 7:30 PM.
