Our mission is to enable quality, affordable housing opportunities for low-income people in Uptown, and to empower residents through participation in advocacy, real estate development, property management, and collaborative services. We envision a diverse, mixed-income Uptown Community that serves as a model fore sustainable, affordable housing and support services for all residents.
We currently own three buildings and a part-owners of eleven others in the Uptown area (equaling to 214 units). Our programs include Property and Asset Management (PAM); Resident Opportunity Services (ROS); and Collaboration, Advocacy, and Preservation (CAP). Our work is rooted in our values of empowerment, diversity, collaboration, and human rights. We partner with other organizations and advocates to promote affordable housing opportunities and enhance services benefiting residents. We believe success requires collaboration, innovation in public policy, and support of new or expanded programs.
